hahahaha. the sky certainly is falling. maybe that’s why they keep spraying toxic chemicals from government aircraft, to hold it all up.

is it the beginning of the end? no. it’s just a new beginning. there have been uncounted numbers of them in the past and there will continue to be for a very long time.

don’t freak out or let it destroy your spirit, but don’t bury your head in the sand like the sheeple.

Some day the f ing goverment will start to apply regulations, so you will have to pay for permits and fines, well if the goverment don’t care about it, well the big prossesing plants will try to stablish regulations so the goverment will force people to buy biodiesel at certified plants and prohibit the producction of biodiesel at home. Remember everything for this goverment is MONEY, MONEY and more MONEY.

ripplegold Says:

You do not have to …
You do not have to use methanol, you can make biodiesel with ethanol too. If you use MORE than 10,000 pounds of methanol a year you are supposed to report it to the federal government and comply with local fire codes…which are all but ridiculous in most cases.

I don’t have any …
I don’t have any affiliation with this company, or any others, but from what I understand you can get a processor for anywhere from a couple hundred bucks or even up to $7500.00 depending on how much you want to be able to process at once.

You can also just make your own processor. Google is your friend. :)

Very interesting, and most restaurants they will give me their vegitable and animal oils freely? That is so kewl… How much would i expect to pay for a processor?

rendrean Says:

Used cooking oil

Used cooking oil
Methanol (Racing Fuel - highly volatile)
Sodium Hydroxide (Lye - Used to make soap)

The methanol might be somewhat hard to find, and obtain, and depending on your local laws you might have to obtain a permit of some type to keep it in large quantities, and while you might have a hard time finding a place to buy the lye from, you shouldnt have any regulation problems with keeping it despite it’s caustic nature.

awol09 Says:

its cooking oil…. …
its cooking oil……

and the NOH or KOH is about what your average drain cleaner is, so its not that big of a deal

the methanol is the main problem. its seriously flamable, but you can still buy it
